2020-21 LA ROCA 11 V 11 WINTER LEAGUE SESSION 2

FIELD:

  • Full-size turf field inside La Roca Park
  • Address: 128 E. South Weber Drive, South Weber
  • Please observe all parking signs. No parking is allowed on South Weber Drive.
  • Players should wear cleats or turf shoes.

    DATES:

  • December 1, 2020, registration opens
  • December 15, 2020, registration deadline
  • January 22-23, 2021, games begin
  • March 12-13, 2021, games end
  • No games will be scheduled President’s Day weekend unless a reschedule request is made in advance and both teams are available to play (see SCHEDULES below).

    FEES:

  • Registration fee - $1,150 for 7 games; includes referee fees.
  • Full payment is due by first game. Payment can be made by check payable to La Roca FC, e-check upon registration ($5 processing fee), or credit card upon registration (3.1% processing fee).

    AGE GROUPS AND FLIGHTS:

  • Boys U14/15 2006-2007

    La Roca will group teams into flights based on team standing and the team’s flight preference; however, it may be necessary to combine age groups to build equitable flights.

    SCHEDULES:

  • Games will be scheduled Friday nights after 8:30 p.m. and Saturday beginning at 7:30 a.m.
  • Teams will be notified when schedules will be available on Affinity.
  • La Roca will make every attempt to notify teams of any schedule changes; however, it is a good practice to check the schedule 24 hours prior to each game to confirm.
  • Schedule requests may be stated in the comments field upon registration or emailed to league director Heidi Wheelwright (heidi.wheelwright@larocafc.com). La Roca will try to accommodate reasonable schedule requests, including requests for back-to-back games for coaches who coach more than one team, but there are no guarantees.
  • All teams must have an assistant coach on the roster who can coach in the head coach’s absence.
  • Forfeited games will not be rescheduled.

    FORMAT AND RULES:

  • 11 v 11 players.
  • Size 5 ball.
  • Games will be 65 minutes long (2 30-minute halves and 5-minute halftime).
  • Three certified league referees will officiate at each game.
  • Referees will follow current FIFA rules applicable to each age group.
  • If the ball hits the ceiling it will be taken out of bounds at the nearest sideline and turned over to the other team for a throw in.

    ROSTERS:

  • One copy of a tournament photo roster from Affinity (UYSA) must be submitted at the first game and will be kept on file by the League Director.
  • Teams can have as many players on the roster as allowed on a tournament photo roster, but only 18 players may play in a game.
  • If the roster changes, the team must submit an updated roster to the League Director.

    GUEST PLAYERS:

  • Teams can have unlimited guest players, but they must appear on the tournament roster on file with the League Director.

    WAIVER:

  • All non-La Roca players must submit a La Roca Park Waiver signed by a parent or guardian before playing at La Roca Park. CLICK HERE FOR LA ROCA PARK WAIVER
  • If a team adds new non-La Roca guest players, please ensure they submit a completed waiver.

    REFUND POLICY:

  • In the event of a COVID closure of La Roca Park, teams will be refunded $100 for each unplayed game.
  • There will be no refunds for forfeited games.

    COVID RULES:

  • Coaches will be required to follow all current UYSA COVID rules.
  • Coaches/Team Managers must verify that all players on the team are COVID symptom-free by signing a waiver before each game.

    SPECTATOR RULES:

  • Two spectators per player can watch the game. Spectators will be required to wear face masks at all times while in La Roca Park, complete a health check and have their temperature taken upon entry. Spectators must bring their own chairs and distance from other spectators.
